A Day Off

No, I'm not actually taking a day off. It's almost midnight and I'm still working. I've been here since 10:15am, but I'm very close to having my big DVD project finished.

I had a few issues with my files for the Israel DVD so I spent the morning fixing them and burning my first DVD. Unfortunately, the first couple of tries didn't have chapter markers or they wouldn't covert so they could be watched on a 4x3 screen. I think I finally fixed the problem, though.

I spent the afternoon helping set up for an Austins Bridge concert. I tried some new ideas on running lights. I thought it looked pretty good, but I don't think I'd use them for a worship service. It was fun though. I had a lot more lighting changes during the songs than a normal service and I ran video backgrounds on the center screen from my laptop while sitting at the lighting board.

So tomorrow I will take the day off. Well, actually, I won't. I'll be coming in every 3 hours to start another DVD burning. At least I'll only be here for 5 or 10 minutes at a time; then I can head back home again. Good thing I live close by.
